Deformable Contours Dialog

 

Use this dialog to deform a single contour.

Example using Deformable Contour

  1. Load a single image for a patient study.

  2. Press Contour->Draw and select the vertices of the initial polygon.

  3. Press Action->Run to deform the polygon.

Restart

Press Restart to reread the configuration file, default g.cfg, and the polygon file, default poly.dat.

Draw

Press the left mouse button on the display image to draw vertices of the initial polygon.  Press the right mouse button on the display imageto close and save the polygon.

Move

Press the left mouse button on the display image to select a vertice to move, press the left mouse button on the display image again to move the vertice.  Press the right mouse button on the display image to finish.

Run

Select Run to deform the polygon until the stop condition is reached, e.g. minimum energy, maximum iterations, etc.

Next 10

Select Next 10 to deform the polygon through 10 iterations.

Next 5

Select Next 5 to deform the polygon through 5 iterations.

Next

Select Next to deform the polygon through 1 iteration.

Misc.->

External Energy

Press External Energy to display the external energy in a display image.

Locate Midline

Press Locate Midline to display the midline of the current polygon.

bullet

Zoom Window

Press Zoom Window to display a zoom window for the display image being used to draw and modify the polygon.

Files . . .

Press Files . . . to select the configuration file or initial polygon file.

Cancel

Press Cancel to remove the Deformable Contours dialog.

Press Help to display help for the Deformable Contours dialog.
